Marketing Strategy & Operations
“Seven particles exist in every business. Most people stare at the ones they can see. The ones that matter are the ones they have stopped noticing.”
Ray Tarantino
The Real Problem
A company can have clean KPIs, a structured marketing plan, a CRM full of leads, and a board that approves every quarterly review, and still feel like it is running in place. Not because the metrics are wrong. Because the metrics are measuring the wrong things.
The real levers in a business are behavioural. Why customers actually buy. Why teams actually ship. Why some operations compound and others just repeat. These patterns do not show up in dashboards. They show up in the gap between what a company says it does and what it actually does.
Operational underperformance is a pattern recognition problem, not a process problem.
And pattern recognition is precisely what Ray Tarantino has spent two decades practising, across industries that have nothing in common except the behaviours underneath them.
Why Him
Ray started in music marketing at Warner Music Group, then Sony/ATV Music Publishing. He ran a failing ticketing software agency in Rome and turned it around by changing the business model instead of firing the staff. He built ForeQuest, an AI and augmented reality startup that represented Italy at Web Summit and holds two international patents. He was named among Italy’s 500 most significant figures in artificial intelligence by La Repubblica.
He founded Prismatica Lab to do one thing: apply behavioural pattern analysis to business strategy. The consulting firm sits at the intersection of behaviour, marketing, and game theory. Every engagement starts with the same question: what is actually happening here, and why does it differ from what everyone believes is happening?
He has published the PROMPT book series on applying AI to business strategy across startups, brands, musicians, fashion retail, and real estate. He does not specialise in an industry. He specialises in the structures that repeat across all of them.
What He Brings
01
He reads businesses the way a physicist reads systems. Not what is being reported, but what is actually happening. The incentives, the feedback loops, the invisible structures that determine why some teams compound and others stall.
02
Music, ticketing, AdTech, AI, publishing, consulting. The value is not in any single domain. It is in the ability to recognise that the same behavioural structures repeat across all of them, and to apply solutions from one context to another before competitors see the connection.
03
He took over a failing agency in Rome and delivered results that exceeded expectations by changing the model, not the people. He knows the difference between a team that cannot perform and a structure that will not let them.
04
Two international patents. Three published books on AI application. Named among Italy’s leading figures in artificial intelligence. He does not advise on AI adoption. He builds with it, and has done so since before it was fashionable.
Ray leads engagements at Prismatica Lab for companies that need the real pattern surfaced, not the comfortable one. Marketing strategy, operational architecture, and behavioural analysis for businesses ready to see what they have been missing.
